Details:
The combination of westerly winds of 15 mph, with gusts to 20 to 25 mph, relative humidity levels between 25 and 30 percent, and dry fuels will lead to increased fire danger across most of central and southern Virginia today, from 11 am to 7 pm. Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged. Residents are urged to exercise caution handling any potential ignition source...including machinery...cigarettes...and matches. Be sure to properly discard all smoking materials. Any dry grasses and tree litter that ignite will have the potential to spread quickly. |
